When Ella first came into Christoffels Hair Restoration, we immediately fell in love with her personality. Ella is a 9-year-old girl who is battling alopecia, an autoimmune disease (also known as patternbaldness) in which hair is lost when the body fails to recognize its own cells and destroys them. But even though shes dealing with alopecia, Ella has an amazing zest for life. She is the sweetest girl you will ever meet!

Although losing her hair did not slow Ella down, she still desired so much to look just like every other girl her age. Imagine yourself as a child with no hair and how that would affect you. She wanted to have hair that would blow in her face and that she could comb, put into a ponytail and braid. She wanted to goto sleepovers and be able to look and feel normal!

When our stylist, Kayla, first put Ellas custom hair system on her head, Ella had a huge smile and in her sassy voice she said, This gives me attitude! She was so excited and was doing handstands with her new hair. She even danced and sang, because who doesnt like to look pretty? This little give came alive even more than she had before, and she was posing for pictures like every other little girl does. She said, I look like Ella again!
